About the Department

The Department of Computer Application (MCA Programme) is a pioneer from 1998 to help the areas in and around our college by providing quality inputs to uplift the students to match the corporate expectations. It has been maintaining a high level of academic standard by producing consistent university ranks to its credit. It also provides a sound knowledge in fundamentals of Computer Science with a strong exposure to the latest technology, to meet the challenges in dynamic IT industry.

MCA ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION "CYBER VISION" FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018-2019

Course Objectives

  • To innovate the areas of big-data, data-mining, cloud networking and sensor networks in Computer Applications

  • To advance and enhance commercial applications and visual applications.

  • To equip the students to meet the industrial expectations

  • To create new data base engines and to create new query languages.

OPPORTUNITIES

  • The course curriculum is comprehensive and aims to provide sound theoretical concepts coupled with hands on experience in the best solution frameworks. The course curriculum has been designed mainly to focus on the following thrust areas: System Software, Data Bases and Computer Networks in addition to various other allied fields and basic sciences.

  • The students are provided with ample opportunities to improve their organizational skills and group dynamics. They are motivated to handle seminars and to participate in group discussions. Apart from emphasizing on consistent and good academic performance, the department encourages participation in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to bring out the latent talents

  • The areas like Windows App Development, Software Development, Application Software, Emerging Trends in Computing Technologies, Management Information Systems (MIS) and Networking can be summed up for career opportunities
